This handsome young Belgian horn player was apparently so proud at mastering a difficult etude that he had a post card made to
commemorate that achievement. The photo is credited to "[D]allemand, phot. Quévy" (the first letter of the name is obscured).
The Commune de Quévy is a municipality in the province of Hainaut and arrondissement of Mons in south-central Belgium near
the French border.

The horn he holding is a Gantois model made by F. van Cauwelaert, Brussels.

Does anyone recognize this etude?

The card appears to have been mailed on 14 June, 1912 (if I interpret the postal cancellation correctly) at the village Aulnois,
Belgium, (in Commune de Quévy) to M. Emile Massart at the same place. It is signed only wth an initial (H?). Any further information
would be greatly appreciated!
